I attended class sessions, socials, while also grading tests, assignments, and presentations. I held office hours before heavily-weighted assignments were due as a way of enhancing the students' understanding of the course. I remained accessible through emails and assisted in answering questions during class. I organized, planned, and led all informational meetings and events for undergraduate students in addition to council meetings. I collaborated with faculty in the SLHS department to host helpful events for members and delegated responsibilities to council members. I created a partnership with Chapel Haven West, which is a local organization that assists individuals with developmental and social disabilities so that they can live independently. I attended class sessions, monitored tests, graded tests and assignments. I held two hours of office hours each week to help students understand the course material. I led writing workshops to help students learn how to read, understand, and summarize research articles related to Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences. The writing workshops were one and a half hours on four days throughout the semester. I was nominated by the SLHS department as a student contact for future College of Science students. I led SLHS department tours to display research and academic opportunities. I recorded student interaction with University of Arizona emails, website, and social media using Excel. I also built, edited, and revised emails for the University of Arizona admissions using Slate. I analyzed and recorded data for studies related to the assessment and treatment of adults with acquired brain injuries. I worked closely with Tobii Technology and Excel. I attended all council meetings and events hosted by the club. I recorded the content of each meeting and updated members on important announcements. I recorded membership status for all 80+ members. I started as a volunteer, then gained responsibilities as a research assistant where I observed a toddler study at a local elementary school. I collaborated with peers to organize materials for clinical treatment with toddlers. I dedicated three hours each week towards research assistant tasks. Acted as a liaison between cultural centers on campus and the faculty of the University of Arizona in multiple departments, but mainly the Administration and Admissions departments. I promoted cultural competency and acceptance on campus. I provided information to students about resources on campus that were related to health and assistive services, safety, and extracurricular opportunities.
