      I spent a month with Huawei learning about business and culture and in China. I visited many large companies such as BYD and Arup, and also visited smaller start-ups and incubators. I also had a week of intensive Mandarin language lessons.I conducted a speech at the opening ceremony in front of a large audience, increasing my public speaking skills. I also learnt the cultural differences between working in the UK and China and gained connections in a different country.
