      After the completion of my role as the Senior Digital Content Officer where I achieved my objectives, I returned to my substantive post. Show less This role was a secondment during my time as a Digital Content Officer where I was responsible for looking at ways of moving Surrey forward using new tools and systems. During my time in this role I planned and worked to bring webcasting of council meetings to Surrey and worked with council services and the public to design and develop an online game to show how council tax is spent. I also lead on the research and development of Web 2.0/ Social Media for Surrey and managed their implementation. Show less The role included overseeing support and day to day activities in the team. The team supports and develops Surrey County Council's digital presence which includes its public facing website, internal intranet, micro sites and social media presence.I managed Surrey's staff use of platforms to update this presence which requires a high knowledge of HTML, IT skills, CMS knowledge and social media skills.My role involved designing, building and delivering systems to help meet customer needs to help meet any specific tasks they have. I also work closely with other services in the council, councillors, managers, external suppliers and customers to help develop and advance Surrey's digital footprint. Show less My role was to provide support to the local highways authority. The main focus of my role was to work with third party operators e.g. skip companies to arrange work on the public highway. During this role I developed and launched websites for the highways teams in Surrey which provided information to the public. I was also part of a team that included the Contact Centre, which looked at how to improve customer services in highways. In addition I produced weekly bulletins for staff, elected councillors and the public with helpful information. Show less

      As an experienced colleague in the store I supported the store manager in day to day activities. I was fully trained in all procedures in the store from opening up to closing down and included running the bakery on weekends. I was also involved in helping to train new staff.
