  The project was aimed at supplying healthy and safe drinking water (1500 Liter/s) to Mazandaran Province, especially the cities of Babol, Babolsar, Amirkola, Fereydunkenar, and Kalleh Bast, and the villages located along the pipeline route. The project consists of a water treatment facility, water transmission pipelines, reservoir water transmission pipelines, and pumping stations.Tolout-Fereydunkenar water transmission pipeline was aimed at supplying water to Mazandaran Group A cities (Phase 2). The pipeline has a length of 49 km and is comprised of 1000- and 1200- mm pipes.
