      Senior Organisational Development Consultant

      My role is to support the development, delivery and evaluation of the training and development strategy and activity within Sunderland City Council. I work with directorates and partner organisations to deliver the City Council’s learning agenda ensuring all development activity supports the strategic objectives and values of the organisation. I develop constructive and effective relationships with directorates and deliverer’s of training citywide and beyond if necessary ensuring learning needs are met. As the lead person for all apprenticeship and work experience activity, I sit within the Workforce Development Strategy and Planning Team where this dedicated resource manages, monitors and reviews both apprenticeships and other work experience placements across the Council. Other responsibilities include my role as Coach for the organisations Management Development Programme as well as the wider workforce, Internal Reviewer for Investors in People, trained in use of Psychometrics (Level A & B) and an experienced NLP practitioner. I have also gained accreditation from the Home Office to facilitate WRAP PREVENT training. This is a national initiative by the Home Office to raise awareness of the prevention of radicalisation of vulnerable people into terrorism. Show less
