  My role involved approving new products/suggestions on tax efficient structuring; providing tax advice on new investments, restructurings, unwindings, and new acquisitions both locally and in respect of our African operations. I was also responsible for technical training of our tax team and to provide feedback to Treasury in respect of proposed tax changes.

My team provides tax guidance on strategic investments, new products, etc. My role also entails being responsible for updates to the Group Tax Strategy, Governance Standard and other relevant Tax policies. I represent the bank at BUSA and is also a BASA member.
