Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Chemical Engineering 7.97/10

      - Novel Uniflow cyclones were designed for fine particle separation which possess lower pressure drop, and capability of separating dilute mixtures (concentration<10gr/m3) over conventional reverse flow cyclones. Effect of flow rate, size of cyclone, geometry design parameters on performance of uniflow cyclone were explored.

      Postdoctoral Researcher

Project collaboration with Dow Chemicals.Developed software for modeling free radical polymerization of any given number of monomers using kinetic Monte Carlo (KMC) framework, capable of tracking explicit monomer sequences in polymeric chains and time evolution of conversion, molecular weight distributions, polydispersity, chemical composition. Key application of using sequence is to establish structure property relationships using molecular simulations. One of the main application of this work is for Photo-resist materials. Designed the copolymer recipe with equal dyad, equal triad and equal tetrad distributions for Methyl acrylate and Methyl methacrylate system with a targeted molecular weight and conversion.
