  I was elected by over 100 members to lead and organize philanthropic events in the UMass community and surrounding areas on behalf of Kappa Sigma. I created and led a committee that was able to raise over $8,000 for non-profit organizations including Buddy and Friends Animal Rescue, Amherst Area Cancer Connection, Inc., the Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign, and others.

  Throughout this 10-week program at the Framingham Branch, I managed the front lobby, communicated client needs to the financial representatives, answered general account and investment questions, and scanned/organized financial documents. I also met with several CFP/CFA/MBA professional advisors, shadowed client appointments, and completed wealth management trainings to gain more insight into the financial planning industry.

  Investor Center Financial Representative Intern

  During this 10-week internship at the Danvers Branch, I supported the Financial Representative Team by assisting clients in the front lobby with various financial needs to help them achieve peace of mind. My responsibilities included making trades/transfers/wires, opening accounts, processing legal documents, and identifying opportunities for advisors. I also learned a lot about the financial planning process by observing appointments between advisors and their clients. A highlight of my internship was presenting at the North Boston Excellence in Action Celebration on behalf of the Danvers Team in front of over 1,000 Fidelity associates. Additionally, I presented on digital assets to the Branch Managers, observed team strategy meetings, attended financial literacy sessions, met with every associate in the branch, and studied topics in financial planning.
