      The bachelor thesis Novel Sleep Monitoring Solutions for Home Environment studies modern sleep monitoring solutions. Nowadays there are plenty of available sleep monitoring solutions available on the market which can be utilized for personal life management. These solutions support the current transitions where people will be more responsible of their own health, preventive care and cost effectiveness will be at central role, and health care is focused on the home environment instead of institutions. This thesis gives an overview to existing sleep monitoring solutions; three of these solutions are more thoroughly tested and compared in this thesis.The market survey shows that there are versatile types of application producing large amount of information for life management purposes. Empirically tested solutions show that there are functional, usable and affordable solutions available. Show less
