This customization was developed in response to specific client requirements.• Modified widget code within the ServiceNow service portal to include a button, enabling users to access a modal view displaying all active major incidents within the instance.• Utilized the record producer feature of the ServiceNow platform to establish an instance on the service portal. This instance enables users to generate both normal and emergency change requests directly from the portal, eliminating the necessity to access the main classic environment.• Enhanced employee productivity by implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to automate the platform login process.• Contributed to the implementation of a vendor risk management and service announcement automation project within ServiceNow, collaborating with cross-functional teams. This involved streamlining the sorting of vendor announcement messages into enhancement or defect tables based on Agile methodology, achieved through REST integration.• Integrated ServiceNow with Microsoft Azure via REST processes, enabling the retrieval of attachments from a Microsoft Outlook email address. Leveraged the Flow Designer in ServiceNow to seamlessly store these attachments in a custom table within the ServiceNow platform.• Implemented a script include to enable a specific field within a particular table to display a designated background colour when a specific option is selected.• Enhanced form and record list functionalities using JavaScript syntax to improve the overall user experience for end users.• Streamlined business logic by importing external data into the ServiceNow tool, improving record-keeping efficiency.
