      Service Engineer Intern

As a service engineer, I worked with Ford service technicians, answering questions and providing assistance on complex, vehicle specific problems. Contacts were generally via web, and utilized Ford's database of service bulletins, repair manuals, and past solutions. I also helped to track growing trends and consulted regularly with subject matter experts to give the best possible advice.

    • AUTOZONE INC

      Jan 2014 - Nov 2017
      Parts and Service Manager

As a member of AutoZone's store management team, I helped over see the daily operations in a growing store with five employees. Regular inventory tracking and reordering was accomplished through periodic physical inventory counts as well as maintaining high levels of inventory security. When I wasn't trying to perfect the employee schedule, I was coordinating daily parts deliveries from our local warehouse and creating a welcoming, one-stop shop for our expanding customer base.

I have also worked with Rocky Mountain Chocolate, Noodles & Company, Leeds School of Business and Twin Peaks on several smaller projects. Outside of classes, I am a contributing member of both the Supply Chain and Operations club as well as the Marketing club. Show less

    • Level 3 Communications

      May 2016 - Sept 2016
      Business Process Innovation Intern

While at Level 3, I worked with their Voice Complete product. I started by working with process architects to see how the product was sold, designed, customized, schedule and installed. After noticing some bottle necks, I worked with Level 3's reports generation department to create, test and implement order tracking and KPIs. Trends in the data lead me to work closely with several functional groups within the process to find what was causing delays and how to reduce or eliminate them. End to end install intervals for Voice Complete were reduced by 10% between my start and end dates with Level 3. I also worked with a cross functional team to generate new ideas for employer branding. The team conducted interviews of both internal employees and potential new hires, as well as administering a short survey to find trends and preferences in Level 3's target market. We utilized a customer journey model to outline contact points between Level 3 and potential new hires, and made recommendations to both recruiting and senior executives of how implement our employer branding strategy.
