      Post Sales Technical Lead

      As a Post Sales Technical Lead within NEC i have technical responsibility for all in-flight projects from start to a successful completion and handover to support.Working with Technical Pre Sales staff i am able to keep abreast of potential opportunities and feedback information on in-flight projects to ensure the Pre Sales team have the up to date information they require for a successfull techical design.A large part of the role is working with NEC and customer project teams to resolve any technical issues and raise any design and/or contract changes as required. Some design changes require a complete redesign due to unknown factors at the project inception. The Post Sales role encompasses a level of Pre Sales consultancy, Architectural design and Delivery engineering. This role requires me to be able to context switch instantly and relay technical information from customers to development teams. This generally requires a level of 'translation' to ensure the customer requirements are understood by all parties.NEC engineers work with Post Sales to feedback technical issues, ensuring challenges are raised via the correct channels. The Post Sales Technical Lead handles escalations and drives the NEC Product and development teams to ensure products are fit for purpose and bugs are resolved. Show less
