  I worked with several different teams within the Forex settlements department, with my prime focus being to gain as much knowledge in as many different areas as possible. This assisted me in developing a multitude of skills from general operational procedures, reconciliations, balance of payments, exchange control, and managing relationships with clients in my portfolio. One of the most enjoyable aspects I was involved with was in system development and testing with the IT team, as streamlining processes and efficiency within the everyday tasks became a passion to me in order to assist my team with day to day tasks. The comprehensive exposure I encountered whilst in IFX helped me find my passion for the financial markets and client relations which led me to advance my career into the treasury department.
