  During my time as an engineering technician, I tested plastic concrete for air content, slump, temperature, unit weight and made cylinders for compressive strength testing. I observed and tested lime modification of a unstable soil subgrade for a roadway improvement project. During my last few weeks at Resource as an engineering technician, I was tasked with installing vibration monitors and documenting construction activities during pile driving for a river lock restoration project on the Muskingum River. I also help troubleshoot projects during the design and construction and is also responsible for training Mt. Carmel’s field leaders and crews on geotechnical topics related to Mt. Carmel’s service lines.
