  • Experience

    • Oslo university hospital (rh)

      Jul 2003 - Feb 2010

Research on how to improve treatment outcome for cancer patients with radiotherapy resistant hypoxic tumors through radiation dose redistribution. Worked on methods to localize hypoxic regions within the tumor with dynamic contrast enhanced MR imaging. Developed mathematical models to determine the dose redistribution most likely to result in tumor control while minimizing the chance of normal tissue complications. Created and evaluated radiotherapy treatment plan based on the predicted optimal dose redistribution. Show less
