Show less We also offer facilitated post-election Councillor Induction workshops designed to integrate with legal service provider governance sessions.Our approach is to work with the Council in the context of the Local Government Act 2020, Local Law and the current Council priorities to facilitate induction workshops for the newly elected Council. Outcomes of these workshops can include:▪ Deepening the understanding of individual and collective roles and responsibilities of Councillors in the context of the organisation.▪ Working inter-dependently with the professional staff by understanding and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. ▪ Developing communication and relationship protocols to strengthen collective leadership and good governance practice.▪ Articulating individual aspirations and interests, priorities and legacies of Councillors for their term of office to establish opportunities and strengths.▪ Building confidence in using the local law for meeting procedures to ensure compliance and full participation in decision making.▪ Building a foundation of success and a sense of team based on mutual trust, respect and co-operation.▪ Ensuring success and professional practice by identifying development and individual support needs.Our process ensures that planning and design of this workshop is co-created with the client to ensure full integration of the local law and cultural alignment to the organisation’s values and behaviours.We will work with other professionals, such as legal providers in an integrated and seamless induction program.
