  I Fully managed two 3 years projects of Ministry of Science and Technology.The objective of two projects was to improve collaboration of academia and industry to develop advanced wearable devices, the goal of the project was to develop over 20 wearable devices. My role:I was assigned as the project lead for this project.My Responsibilities:My responsibility was to build up the project plan, to facilitate monthly meetings with the development team and to ensure they were on schedule, make sure the products met the project’s goal, and to promote and demo the development outcome to potential buyers.My activities:Being a PMO team member, I helped the owner to develop a project charter and stakeholder register during IN. When PL, I was assigned to develop project WBS, communication plan, procurement documents and plan schedule management.When EX, I played an important role in carrying out project communications, besides planned meetings with develop team and stakeholders regularly, I design a website that team members and stakeholders could upload data and get information from that. When MC, I evaluated project performance, controlled cost and schedule. At the end of the project, I contributed to documents update and final report to stakeholdersOutcome:The project successfully improved over 20 collaborations of academia and industry and developed over 20 advanced wearable devices, and held a 1 day exhibition that attracted over thousands visitors.   Project Objective: The project’s objective was to collect important cultural assets or historic material such as photos or videos, and make sure they will be uploaded to the newly developed website successfully and give the materials an appropriate statement. My role: I was assigned to be the project lead for monitoring the outcome of contractors, making sure the collecting material was meeting the project’s goal. My activities: As the PMO team was in charge of the project in initiating, I focused more on PL, EX and MC. I started the project by identifying stakeholders, which included the developer team, communication team and potential contractors. I developed the project management plan, including the scope statement and WBS to ensure the contractors could easily understand what we want to achieve. I also developed a milestone chart and procurement documents. When EX, I performed quality assurance and conflicts resolution. While the collect and upload process started, I monitored the quality and schedule to make sure our contractor could deliver it on time and the outcome met our goal. I also contributed to the project plan and documents update and final report and lessons learned during CL.Outcome: The deliverable was transferred to the client on time and within budget, and over 2 million photos or videos were uploaded to the website.   Main Project Objective:The project’s objective was to develop advanced semiconductor technology research and staged a press conference to demo the outcome. My responsibility was to develop milestone charts, schedules and cost management. To improve the research performance and make sure the cost was under budget. I also supervised 2 project members to hold the press conference for this project.My activities:During IN, I developed the project charter and stakeholder register, which included the academia research team and the industry development team.When PL, I planned the milestone chart, schedule management, cost management and procurement documents for the press conference.In the EX process, I performed quality assurance and report project progress quarterly to the project sponsor and held a bidder conference. I also directed the project team to execute tasks, such as planning the demo and writing press releases. When MC, I evaluated project performance, controlled cost and schedule as well.I also contributed to lessons learned and OPA updates during CL. Show less
