      Summer 2018 & 2019 – Summer Student shadowing Quality and Environment Engineer - Worked the 2018 Turnaround, responsibilities involved managing and coordinating waste and recycling removal from the plant site. - Introduced to ISO standards 9001 Quality Management, 14001 Environmental Management, and 45001 Occupational Health and Safety. Applying and integrating them to related company standards. - Worked with requirements and calculations relating to the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) reporting, applying standards and requirements to company procedures along with updating various compliance registers. - Completed data collection relating to groundwater measurements and emission reporting, monitored dyke integrity programs surrounding evaporation ponds, and conducted various lab bench-scale testing relating to wetland projects.Summer 2017 – Plant Labelling Project - Involved with a team of 5 members responsible for identifying and labelling all equipment, pipe lines, and flow direction within the industrial plant site. This project had the intention of increasing plant safety by eliminating possible misidentification of equipment or pipe lines in future work orders. - Personal responsibilities involved going through plant drawings, PID’s, ISO’s and engineering spreadsheets in order to create field packages that would provide sufficient and reliable information to field techs.       Manufacturing Engineer (EIT) – North Regina Works Material Processing- Responsible for designing and improving workplace efficiency, implementing cost-effective measures, and optimizing throughput, all while ensuring proper safety measures are upheld and machine / operation downtime is minimal.- Assumed various lead roles in project management, ranging everywhere from reactive to proactive maintenance projects, ensuring effective time and personnel management.- Successfully served as the liaison between Brandt and its various machine and process vendors. Highlighting a strong working relationship with Trumpf Inc. and STOPA America Inc. as the two primary suppliers for Brandt’s material processing equipment.- Effectively provided on-site engineering solutions to a variety of cases requiring qualified persons, ranging from the implementation of new designs to retrofitting existing features.- Working expertise centering around the upkeep and optimized operation of Trumpf TruLaser 5040 Fiber lasers and auxiliary automation systems, Trumpf TruBend press brakes, and STOPA automated plate storage systems.
