  As instructed by the Guide in this project I had to find out a suitable place for constructing an artificial recharge pond within the institute campus area(200 acres) considering depth to water table map, DEM map and infiltration rate of soil of the area. By doing this project I gained some knowledge about infiltration rate measurement in soil using double ring infiltrometer, water table depth modelling using Arc GIS.
