A course covering all stages of product design, from user research and costing to CAD modelling and prototyping. This included training in SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. User orientated design was the central focus of each project, examining unique challenges for specific user groups. Furniture design modules explored form and function in design.

Northumbria University

Design, business and marketing disciplines work together on international client briefs within this course. Teams use innovation strategies to develop tools for clients, to help them forecast and prepare for future developments in their industry.
