  • As part of BI team, we closely work with client to develop Dashboard & Report for their business need.• Understand the problem statement and prepare the business question for client to understand their requirements.• Analyze the raw data and transform the raw data to final data which intern meets the business need and provide solution to the business problems.• Develop complex SQL query and join multiple tables to get the final data to prepare the Dashboard and Report.• Extensive use of Power query to get the data from Excel, CSV, Folder, SharePoint List, SQL Server and Flat files and transform them to fulfill the business requirements.• Perform data analysis, clean the data, remove the duplicates, remove the error and null values, get conditional column, split the data, merge and append with multiple tables, pivot and transpose the data to get the final view of table.• Build the relationship and cardinality between tables, use of star and snowflake schema to perform the data analysis and build the report.• Use of DAX functions to get the cumulative results, adding calculated column and measures as required.• Use of Sumx, Countx, Averagex, Calulate, Filter, Selectedvalue, Min, Max, Switch to get the required data. Use of Quick measure to get time intelligence and running total for quick analysis.• Use of conditional formatting in table and crosstab to highlight the important key values.• Validate the Power BI data in SQL Server using DML commands.• Extensive use to SQL Server management studio to build the complex SQL queries, use of Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, CTE, Try & catch blocks to get the desired data in frontend like MS Excel and Ms. Access.• Build tools in Ms. Excel and Ms. Access using VBA and User Forms for client to manipulate the final data for internal use.• Daily client interaction upon dashboard, report and tool to provide the insight.
