  Key Responsibilities: Operation of process plant and equipment from a Control Room via SCADA/DCS system. Control all process systems from SCADA/DCS system. Prepare process systems for shut-down from SCADA /DCS panels for defined area of responsibility. Prepare process systems for start-up following reinstatement from SCADA /DCS panels for defined area of responsibility. Monitoring and operating various processes, including inspection of equipment on a regular basis. Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges ensuring operational data is recorded. Supervision of routine tasks, such as recording meter readings, taking samples etc. Monitor and operates safely and efficiently, observing all safety precautions, practices, and regulations of the following equipment: Diesel Generator, Electrically & Diesel Engine Driven Pumps, Instrument Air Compressors, Heating furnace, Hydraulic Control Panels, Automatic Valves, Pressure switches & Vessels, TEG & EG Dosing Pump, Wellhead Equipment, Gas and Condensate Separators, Heat Exchangers, Firefighting and Safety equipment, Inlet Manifold, Test Separators, 1st and 2nd Stage Separators, Electric Dehydrators, Electric De salting Units, Oil Stabilizer, Gas Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Transportation Units,N2 & air Compressor, TEG & EG Regeneration System. Carry out well tests including meter readings, monitors daily logs & checks required readings on equipment & pressure vessels, as well as all other pertinent activities throughout the plant site. Perform pressure vessel and piping isolation, purging, and cleaning for external and/or internal inspection in accordance with the Lead Operations Specialist. Launch and receive pipeline PIGs. Supports Lab Chemists to conduct sampling of ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol systems, and check the freezing point of crude oil and analysis.
