      Program Manager

As Head Coach and Program Manager for the men's program (approximately 25 individuals, ages ranging from 5 to 18) at Southern Oregon Gymnastics Academy, I was responsible for the training, well being, and preparation of youth athletes for participation in local, state, regional, and national gymnastics competition. Effectively and concisely explained or demonstrated the desired movement or progressions to facilitate individual or group learning, often repetitively and with varied dialogue and technique. Analyzed and assigned exercises to comply with organizationally allotted compulsory skill sets as necessary to develop athletes capability, promote safety, and establish learning patterns for specific outcomes. Provided hands-on assistance (spotting) to ensure the athletes' safety. Created and managed detailed lesson plans for the team, monthly goal assignments, benchmarks, daily planning, and individual daily assignments for each team member on all six of the men's Gymnastics apparatus. Researched and planned competitions, coordinated the teams budget with the club’s non-profit booster organization, as well as attended those competitions with the athletes during competitive season as a representative of the team and the business. My athletes earned several state and regional titles under my tutelage. Show less

      Student Software Engineer

Through an 18-month military apprenticeship with Amazon Web Services, garnered on-the-job experience related to software development engineering. The role entailed six months of technical training in Java, JavaScript and related frameworks, Python, Agile Methodologies, Object Oriented Programming principles and more, and once transitioning to a software engineering team with AWS, I used the skills I learned in my technical training to provide automation for internal operational tools written in Python as well as maintenance and support for the existing Java code base.
