      I worked on and off in the Fisheries Oceanography Lab at Dalhousie University under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Taggart. I began as a co-op student in 2008, returned as an honour's student in 2009/2010, and then worked as the lab manager from January 2011 until September 2011. My main duties were: processed biological samples (species identification, abundance, gravimetrics, and digital analysis). Digital image analysis of magnetic tracer particles. Established, maintained, and catalogued sample collections. Maintained and calibrated laboratory equipment. Assisted in data analysis. Prepared honour’s thesis for publication. Show less
