      - Across a 12-year period, improved and supported the growth of the Chapel Street Surgery through a variety of part-time positions from Medical Secretary, to Medical Admin, to Finance Administrator and Claims Manager.- Directed the supervision, preparation and upload of monthly, quarterly and annual reports on all claim activities via the Calculating Quality Reporting Service (CQRS) platform. - Identified additional claim avenues to boost focus healthcare provider targets. Successfully directed the inclusion of high volume vaccine administration, and Any Quality Provider (AQP) contracts.- Created and implemented new large data processing and entry procedures with appended protocols to streamline in-house claims processes. - Oversaw and amended policy claim issues, and monitored insurance and disability claims. Assisted investigations of questionable claims via SystmOne with NHS England, sending detailed clinical reports. - Delivered weekly, monthly and annual Payroll for 15 employees. Responsible for updating HR data files, with annual leave/sick leave taken into account. - Managed invoices and BACS salary payments to staff as well as to third party providers. Implemented permanent and temporary pay changes, and structured pay-day and BAS deadlines for maximum efficiency. - Established internal end-of-year audits, requested by management, to scrutinise performance activities and achieved health targets. Show less As part of the Royal Society of Chemistry Undergraduate Summer Research Bursary (£2500) undertook a 10 Week Project under the Storr group: Cascade Reactions of NH-Sulfoximines: Rapid synthesis of Heterocylic Motifs and Derivatives.- Managed independent lab-based work outside of the typical sphere of a teaching led lab session. - Multi-step synthetic protocols and procedures on a small and large scale were carried out.- Implemented newly learnt purification, drying and spectroscopic techniques.- TLC analysis in numerous solvent systems to optimise separation of compounds.- Analyze reaction progress and product ratios using NMR via MestroNova software.- Wet-load and dry-load column chromatography developing my understanding in gauging optimal flow rates, gradient eluent polarities and monitoring progress via TLC; to achieve cleanly separated fractions.- Conducted spectroscopic NMR, NOSY, COSY, HSQC and HMBC characterisation of unknown products for standard reaction confirmation. Additionally carried out temperature and solvent studies. - Appreciated importance of written experimental data, supplemental information and safe lab practices in reproducing representative data.
