      Product Flow Supervisor

      Responsible for opening the store and cash office, I lead the Product Flow Team – assisting in maintaining content stock, organization, and cleanliness. Performing continual process analyses for stock truck loading and unloading, I maintained the resource management for the efficiency of the Product Flow department. Within this department, I conducted interviews and performance evaluations with all associates. During the holiday season, I planned and executed all store projects for sales events such as Black Friday.       Providing daily leadership to Austin Communications Center, I implemented new training for all dispatchers to maintain standards and reporting for accreditation. I developed a new system for employee paid time off, and shift scheduling. In addition, I assisted in planning, implementing and training for the acquisition of Capital EMS and the new dispatch center in Lampasas. Monitoring everyday operations and performance for all response areas, I kept accurate excel sheets for analyses of trends to use when working with field operations and leadership to appropriately maintain system resources, contractual compliance times, and company budgets. I also assisted in answering 9-1-1 emergency phone calls, non-emergency phone calls and addressing all customer feedback. Show less As lead Transport Coordinator, I assisted Acadian leadership and Seton Healthcare Family leadership in the development and implementation of the Seton Transport Coordinator located within the Seton Transfer Center. In relation to this, I developed and implemented the policies, procedures, training and schedules used by the coordinators to facilitate patient transports more efficiently. I established and maintained good relationships and worked with the Seton Transfer Center nurses, facility nurses, case managers, Acadian dispatchers, and area 9-1-1 providers to schedule all patient transportation. Maintaining accurate excel records and logs, I provided continual process analyses to ensure we are meeting all contractual obligations, maintaining the most efficient, streamlined processes for transportation, and continuing quality assurance for customer service. Show less I created the training procedure for the Austin Acadian Transport Assistance Center, a department designed to match patient reimbursements with the best resources. Leading the ATAC team, I assisted in obtaining all pre-authorization for non-emergent ambulance transports, payment or formal guarantee of payment prior to transportation and providing price quotes for any private pay transportation. This included maintaining familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines for ambulance and wheelchair van transportation. I also worked closely with the dispatch center, business development supervisors, and customers to schedule transports in the Computer Aided Dispatch system. In addition, I provided pre-arrival and post-dispatch instructions to all emergency callers, and dispatched company resources accurately and efficiently. I created and implemented new training for all Austin Communication Center dispatchers for dispatching the van transportation. In relation to this, I created and implemented a process to keep all pre-scheduled van transportation patients up to date in the Computer Aided Dispatch system for the North, Central, and South Texas service areas.       With the goal of bringing more patients into the Seton Healthcare Family network, I act as the liaison for area EMS agencies, freestanding Emergency Departments, Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long-Term Acute Care facilities; providing information on Seton-specific capabilities. In support of this, I assist in analyzing all EMS data to report volume, market share, and interpreting areas for improvement. I am responsible for Seton Medical Center Williamson, Seton Medical Center Austin, Dell Children's Medical Center, Seton Northwest, and Seton Highland Lakes, private ambulance service contracts, and network-wide reporting on patient outcomes. I research funding opportunities to expand our community-faced efforts as well as to participate in external efforts aligned with Seton’s mission. Through Seton, I currently serve on the CATRAC Injury Prevention and the Network Transport O.I. Committees, and independently serve as a committee member for Safe Kids Austin. Show less
