  The job role in my internship was to ensure smooth execution of various national level exams like SBI PO, CMAT, etc. Hence I had to visit various examination sites and pre check the network related settings at the site. And also conduct multiple mock drills of the exam before the actual exam.However, getting selected for this internship was very special for me since the internship was initially meant for only the computer science branch students but at a later stage, the top 10 students of electronics & communication department were also allowed to sit in the interview process and I was one of the few students who got selected for the internship. And this internship gave me some hands on experience in the realm of basic networking and also provided me a first hand experience of the corporate world during my last semester itself. Show less

  Being a part of eClinicalWorks was a sublime experience in every way. I couldn't have asked for a better organization during my initial years in the corporate world. Below are the responsibilities that I had as a SAM:1) Dealing with experienced clinicians and their staff on daily basis in order to provide training and support of the EMR(electronic medical records) software. The training was done to acquaint the clients with the software and make them aware about the efficient ways to streamline their clinic workflow.2) A structured and profound analysis of each and every client using the SWOT and the CAPA analysis method. Also, it was required to adhere to strict documentation in regards to every client matter.3) The analysis done was to be discussed and presented to the directors of the vertical to find process gaps and rectify them.4) I worked in a critical vertical where every client was to be taken care for the first 6 months post the implementation of the EMR software on the client site. It required to exhibit one's best CRM skills during this time especially to make the client well oriented with the software and the organization.5) Interacting and coordinating with multiple departments like development, Quality check, Support engineer, etc in order to figure out a feasible solution for the client's concern.6) Their was a frequent exchange of emails between client and the SAM due to which it was necessary to be good at drafting efficient and quality emails in quick time.7) Other Key responsibility areas:-> Client strategy formation-> Risk analysis-> Scope of integration of various products with the EMR software-> Deciding a performance oriented strategy for every client based on their background*** In addition to this, the impact which I was able to bring in my profile was creating long lasting relationships with my clients which benefited my organization a lot.   OpsAthena is a two day operations event conducted under the annual management festival of SIBM Bengaluru, Revelation. I was selected as a core member along with 5 other members. The selection was done by the previous year's event team. This was my first experience of planning and executing an event of a national scale which involved planning at all fronts like logistics, event structure, marketing plan, etc.My contribution to the team and the event was as follows:1) Worked on the content part of the event which included coming up with event name, tagline, event synopsis which was supposed to be put on the website and send across all the B-Schools of the country.2) Prepared a raw case study without taking any reference from internet which was used in the event finale to decide the winner. This gave me the exposure of framing an industry oriented case study from scratch and also create an industry oriented solution for the same.   My journey with Toastmasters started when I joined SIBM Bengaluru and became a member in July 2017. To understand the concept of toastmasters, I attended the club meetings regularly. Also, I went outside to various corporate clubs to meet new people and know their journey with Toastmasters. I did this to prepare a plan for my own journey with Toastmasters since, from day one I was in complete awe of this platform due to the kind of self improvement and networking scope that it brought to the table.I was elected as the President of the club for the year 2018. And got the opportunity to work with six other office bearers who I would say were one of the best teams that I have ever worked with.Currently I am serving the term as an Immediate Past President of the club for the year 2019.In my journey till now with Toastmasters, I have accomplished the following:1) Completed my CC1 speech @CGI elite Toastmasters club and bagged the award for best speaker.2) Won the best table topic speaker at one of the club meetings of CGI elite Toastmasters club.3) Won the 2nd prize at Area level Table topics (extempore speaking) contest held at Alliance university, Bengaluru.4) As a office bearer for the club, I have attended two TLI (Toastmasters Leadership institute) sessions at Jain University & General electric campus and represented our club in the Division Annual meet held at Ambient Turret. 5) At the division meet in TCS-Think Campus, our club got the Distinguished status and every office bearer was recognized as an 'Outstanding Office bearer' for our term.Individually, I happen to win the Impromptu Speaking Contest at the same meet which had the contestants from the very old and renowned corporate clubs like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Yokogawa, etc.6) During the inspire division meet in March 2019, I was awarded with the 'President - Special Mention Award' for excellence in leading the club.Please look in the media library for further details.   I started my journey with Research Committee as a core member in July 2017. The selection for the same happened through a rigorous interview process conducted by the then senior members of the committee and the faculty members.Then I got the opportunity to head the committee through the Student Leadership Election process which elected me as the Coordinator of the committee for the year 2018-19. This gave me the opportunity to lead a team of 14 exceptional individuals (7 senior members and 7 junior members). During our tenure, we were able to bring following initiatives in the working of the committee and it's activities:1) A new comprehensive newsletter series, Crux, which covered all the major news of the previous week & we added more value to the newsletter by incorporating well researched Bloomberg data and graphs which augmented the insight of each news.2) A brand new endeavor of an article series, Cognizance which has pictorial articles providing insightful information on various jargons that we use in our day to day worklife. The articles goes through multiple reviews to maintain the calibre of the final document.3) The team was successful in bringing 6 international participants from colleges of 5 different countries for Symposio 2019 which is the international student research conference of SIBM Bengaluru. The event also saw participation from well renowned Indian colleges like IISC, IIT B, etc.4) For the first time, we were able to bring Concours 2019, the national level B-quiz competition, to a new level by collaborating with an extensively growing knowlegde & quizzing platform, Little Known. This made sure that the event saw high level of participation from participants across the country hailing from some of the best institutes of the nation.   Interning at Deloitte was a dream come true for me considering since the time I had started working in the corporate world, it was one of my dream companies to work for. It gave me an experience which created an impact that matters the most to me today.During my 8 weeks tenure as an intern, I happened to experience the wonderful culture that Deloitte has nurtured in its workforce over so many years. A culture of becoming a better version of yourself by being what you are and focusing on your strengths to continuously improve. This culture emanates two important factors for succeeding at Deloitte; staying relevant and being eminent. The success mantra that I have learnt from this culture is, 'Do the right things and the rest will fall in place accordingly.'With regards to my project, I happened to work on some interesting industry tools to assist the client for streamlining its organization planning concerns. It gave me a learning that it is very important to understand the functional aspect of the client business in detail to provide a long term solution to the client.The project helped me to understand the work ethics that is imbibed in the Deloitte culture. As per my experience, these work ethics are based on 3C's; Client, Collaboration and Consensus. Apart from working on new technologies, tools and comprehending the consulting domain of the business, a major learning for me has come in the form of knowing the real meaning of 'Networking'. I could realize that the idea of networking is to know about each other's values and core competencies. And then see how you can bring value into the day to day lives of the peers around you.Lastly, I would just like to say that Deloitte is an organization which provides varied amount of experience in a short time.   I was selected by the senior curation team to head the Content division of TEDx SIBMBengaluru 2019. This gave me the opportunity to work with ten talented & creative individuals to accomplish the below objectives:1) To create an official video for the event which involved working on the ideation, concept formation and assisting the digital team with video frame collection.Here is the link of the trailer created by us: https://youtu.be/b0pj1Mb3m5oVideo Credits: Digital team2) Work with all the speakers on their respective speech content and make it more oriented towards the theme.3) Assist the Branding and Online Promotions team to prepare the content for social media campaigns.4) On the day of the event, assist the social media team with content creation based on the speaker's speech which was to be used to create social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.A major learning for me from this opportunity was that I got the exposure of how to frame an ideation into a concrete work. And the brainstorming done with the team gave me some major lessons of how to lead a team during group discussion on a critical time bounded task. Show less
