Prepared written audit reports concerning accounting procedures, internal controls, consumer lending and compliance to industry regulations. Presented findings and recommendations to management, CEO, and Board of Directors. Performed internal audits with detailed focus on various credit union areas of concern such as employee accounts and internal controls. Performed Bond Claim research regarding fraud / embezzlement losses.

      Hired as Accounting Manager in 1998 and held various rolls including CFO, EVP, and Interim CEO. Managed the IT and Accounting areas as the CFO/EVP. Develop annual budgets and vital part of annual strategic planning. Led and current participant in ALCO. Authorized to make investment decisions for the credit union. Developed and implemented Internal Audit program until the duties were continued by business partner. Experienced lender and part of the credit union's lending group with the highest lending authority that underwrites consumer, home equity and mortgage loans on a daily basis. Provides ongoing feedback to the lending staff on policies and procedures for training purposes. Developed and managed the credit union's mortgage program for 8 years. Responsible for the companies overall marketing and advertising needs. Implemented an MCIF program in 2006 and responsible to research data for marketing opportunities and overall business purposes. Sucessfully graduated from Southwest CUNA Management School at TCU and honored with an Award of Excellence in 2006. Continue to support the VP of Community and Business Development in various efforts including SEG business, speaking engagements, and volunteering with multiple school districts to help raise funds for grants and scholarships. Participated on the Spring ISD CTE (Career & Technical Education) board as the Accounting/Finance committee chair and then moved to the Vice-President, Co-President, and then President of the board. Joined the Aldine Education Foundation's first year of existance to serve as Secretary on the Executive board.
