      Belgian Government Covid Testing Platform 2020 - Quality Oversight Role UCB Pharma and Belgian Government UCB Pharma amongst some other Pharma/BioPharma companies entered into an agreement with the Belgium Government to undertake PCR testing during the height of the first and the start of the second wave of the Pandemic (from April to Oct 2020), until the government could establish their own testing capabilities. I had the honour to provide shift Quality oversight and establishing of the testing /quality systems being reported/operated within. I had the honour to provide shift Quality oversight and establishing of the testing /quality systems being reported/operated within. This was controlled by the governments official laboratories based in the Universities of KU Leuven and Liege. It was known as the Covid Testing Platform. This position within the Covid Testing Team was a purely voluntary role, in addition to my normal daily duties.
