  Job Role: Transport manager & Weighbridge Operator Accountable in a multifaceted role with the primary remit to undertake a range of administrative tasks.• Ensure that all wastes received on site are accompanied with the relevant waste transfer or consignment note.• Ensure that all wastes leaving the site are accompanied with a waste transfer or consignment note.• Ensure that fleet & vehicles are operating efficiently• Checks that vehicle maintenance regime is implemented and managed correctly● Working closely with customers to respond to any enquiries about collections. Ensuring any issues or discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.● Utilizing a bespoke waste management database system(FRED) to update records within format and content requirements.● Drawn upon to manage invoices for the business.● Managing the lifecycle of waste collection requests including preparing consignment and document notes for collections and dispatches● Managing the company's operator licence to ensure all vehicles and operator centres are up to date.● Managing accounts payable for major companies within south Wales. ● Managing the PMI inspections, MOTS and scheduling for all company vehicles ● Managing our three sites fuel ordering. ● Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are maintained at our site in Bridgend. ● Managing all HGV drivers, ensure they are all briefed before leaving and debriefed on return to yard.● Invoicing & self-billing customers. ● Plan all RORO skip deliveries, collections and exchanges.● Ensure all vehicle collections prompt and efficient. ● All builders skip deliveries, collections and exchanges.
