These certifications continue to be updated and I constantly strive to share my acquired knowledge with others.       I taught adult basic education and GED preparation classes to the Connecticut prison population. As a special educator I created and implemented individualized educational plans (IEP's) for all special education categorized prisoners under the age of 21. The DOC was one of the 168 state systems called USD#1. I loved my position from the anxious moment I entered Bridgeport North Avenue Jail to the anguished decision to retire in 2003. It was a great job for eleven years and I always say that I met the nicest people in jail. This position expanded my knowledge of people and allowed me to grow as and educator and an individual.       We provide trained,caring, bonded and insured caregivers for in-home non-medical care. The goal of our company is to allow seniors to age in place and stay in their own homes. Our caregivers offer a number of services that assist the client with activities of daily living through interactive care, so our client can stay independent as long as possible. I have become a senior resource for family, friends and potential clients. My office staff helps to co-ordinate the caregivers schedules and promotes positive communication with the client and our caregivers. All caregivers and CNA's are fully hired by us.
