      At the formula student association of the University of Glasgow (UGRacing) I had various responsibilities over the years. I was always a part of the design team, but my field of work varied every academic year. I had worked at the (class 2 - concept development only division) for the Aerodynamics and Power train teams mainly. 2011 - 2012 Bodywork and Aerodynamics:Assigned task was to develop Bodywork for the car. This included focus on the following:- aerodynamics- weight of the shell- compliance with FSAE rules and regulations- budget- ease of manufacture- ease of installations- ease of maintenance- aesthetics2012 - 2013 Powertrain: The project task was to develop a concept VVI system (Variable Valve Intake System).       Vienna International Science and Engineering Fair Institute of Nuclear Materials Management Mar 2011 A group project (concept) worked on by friends and Vienna International School classmates Masayuki Kishi, Adam Bokheshim and myself, revolved around developing a pair of innovative new snowboarding goggles. The innovation was lead by Masayuki Kishi, and aimed at an new mechanism that allowed users to operate the goggles using just one hand, pushing aside the conventional two handed wearing and removing procedure. This arose through experience of difficulty and hassle of conventional goggles'… Show more A group project (concept) worked on by friends and Vienna International School classmates Masayuki Kishi, Adam Bokheshim and myself, revolved around developing a pair of innovative new snowboarding goggles. The innovation was lead by Masayuki Kishi, and aimed at an new mechanism that allowed users to operate the goggles using just one hand, pushing aside the conventional two handed wearing and removing procedure. This arose through experience of difficulty and hassle of conventional goggles' discomfort while snowboarding.This project not only upheld student level innovation for competition purposes, but also promoted Computer Aided Design and 3D printing.The concept was presented at the Vienna International Science and Engineering Fair, and received positive feedback from judges, audience, friends & family and other contestants.
