Assisted patrol officers with their investigations and daily operations of the patrol division. Also I was the overseeing supervisor of the communications supervisor. I investigated my own case and was the lead investigator in complex/ high profile cases.

  Auto Theft Investigator

  I was assigned to a 17 County Auto Theft Task force investigating mainly motor vehicle thefts and writing reports and filing charges with the perspective county of District Attorney. Worked with little supervision and trained new investigators. These investigations were at times in cooperation with TXDOT Motor Vehicle Investigators. I also supervised and was the team leader on the Crisis Negotiations team.

  As Chief Deputy I supervised Patrol, Investigations, communications and the corrections division. Oversaw the daily operations of the divisions. I wrote policies as well as the budget for all department. As well I was the Chief Investigator in major incidents. I wrote and administered departmental policy. Also coordinated with outside agencies and supervised all aspects of the Sheriff's Department and a narcotics task force we participated in while they were operating in Fayette County.

  I have completed all aspects of training and received a merit raises. After a short term with the agency I was promoted to Asst. Chief. I have completed all State mandated supervisors courses and performed the full functions of an Asst. Chief. As an Investigator I was asked to investigate internet violations for dealers in conjunction with the normal case load as well as undercover work of dealer violations and out of state dealers operating in Texas illegally. I believe I have exceeded my case requirements, travel investigations and education of numerous dealers during my time with the agency. I check and approve all cases before sending them to the State’s Attorneys for action. Responsible for policy and procedures for the agency as well as training and oversee the everyday operations of the investigators Statewide. Show less

  I am responsible for the safety and security of any and all Hertz employees and assets for Texas and Louisiana. Recovery of over due , stolen, fraud rental and missing Hertz vehicles as well as safety and security audits of all Hertz locations per OSHA standards.
