  I am part of the Legal Services Vertical of IDIA UP Chapter taking place at RMLNLU. Being a member of the team, my work includes visiting the different outskirts of the city of Lucknow , and near villages and making them aware of the Legal Rights the different laws like the Legal Services Authorities Act 1987 gives them, what are their Fundamental Rights ,and other important laws in the Constitution of India.The other responsibilities are making a kind of literature that includes a laws in simpler language. Other than that ,my vertical has a tie-up with Legal Aid Clinic of RMLNLU together the both teams help in giving pieces of advice to needy people on their particular legal problems or issues. These issues are the daily life problems like illegal encroachment to some serious domestic violence cars as well . Show less

  The reason for working in the MNC' Legal department was to get acquainted with the "Regulatory Compliance a global company has to follow." Largely, I learnt, "The more the sector is Regulated, heavy compliance is." In the case of Whirpool, the product is Electronic home appliances. For years, the sector has been low to moderately regulated. The primary law around which the research has revolved for many years is "Consumer Law". But with the change in the zeitgeist today, the laws where intrinsic research is necessitated are competition law, Intellectual Property Rights in the Electronic market today; not only the products but the “Service Market is another industry where the aforementioned laws make a huge impact. The case of Shamser Kathuria quite evidently proves the point. If it's an MNC, and given the niche existence of these laws in our country, the research goes back to the founding parents of these laws, which are the US, the UK and the EU Anti- trust laws. So, my work here was around the Cases of the Consumer Act and their Written Statements (WS), Section 138 NI and Section 143 and 143A of the NI Act (Cheque bounce and Interim Compensation); other than that –1- Carpooling Research.2- Spare parts and Service Market and impacts of competition law The whole saga of the Right to Repair, including the US And the UK laws on the “Right to Repair”.4- Contracts Gas Supplying Agreement Red Flagging.5- Services Supply Agreement and SaasS Reg Flagging.8- IBC Matters – Applicability of Sec- 138 and 143A of NI Act and liability of the KMPs and other signing persons when the company files for CIRP under the IBC Act 2016.9-Master Services Agreement Red Flagging.10- IPR Infringement, trademark infringement under the services agreement.
