  Overseeing daily operations and maintenance of AHA! BPO and Jira service desk applications. This includes security compliance, technology compliance, operational readiness, and business continuity. I work with stakeholders to maintain the health of the application and take care of architectural stories. This can include things like system level programming and using unix utilities and programs, migrating application database, migrating to new identity provider for Identity access management, migrating application to new servers, upgrading application versions, starting and stopping application for maintenance and patching, ACL upkeep, and more. This is alongside my development work with Angular and mainly spring micro services using java where I complete back end stories for data retrieval, maintenance, enhancements, and bugs. Show less Took on ownership of an application called Global Equity Mining System or GEMS.My work consisted of overseeing daily operations like communicating with various stakeholders, analyzing requirements and planning with the team, implementing solutions for break glass incidents, delegating tasks to junior developers when possible, completing stories related to new features, maintaining automated jobs whether that be command line, http, database, or file watcher. Connecting to application servers for troubleshooting, upgrading technology versions, vulnerability remediation like log4j, application deployment (Web logic or PCF), server disk clean up, or application resource modifications. I was the point of contact for technical debt items and also handled end user tickets through our ticket management system. I've also onboarded new team members on several occasions quickly and efficiently which saved a lot of time, headache, and money. Show less Worked with a General motors, java based, test framework which utilized various technologies like test ng, spring boot, x path, GM built-in libraries to build automated test suites for several national/global level applications. Saved the company time and money by catching bugs early and reducing time for the software development process for these applications. One was called Showroom which exhibited vehicles for dealer in a new and exciting way and the other, an older system, called Vehicle Invoice Service for serving invoice information on vehicles, customers, dealers, and downstream systems.I also worked in API automation testing using ready/soap API IDE. I helped create a test suite for a couple of applications to test their endpoints. On the aforementioned Vehicle Locator Service and for another, Global Locate to Order, I used groovy, ready/soap api and related technologies, and oracle sql. Show less I started as a database junior developer learning Oracle database and it's dialect of SQL. Working with a global application, which was, on a high level, a suite of webservices and databases schemas used to globally locate vehicles to order. This application consumed data from downstream mainframe systems along with various other systems for data enrichment and aggregation. I worked with SQL and PL/SQL for DDL and DML operations such as retrieving, inserting, and deleting data, updating table definitions, modifying db triggers, procedures, packages, views, functions, and types. I also learned to load data using flat files into temporary staging tables and to use PL/SQL scripts to clean and load the data into the appropriate tables and child tables. I worked with a mentor to deploy database scripts to all environments including production several times which includes creating deployment plans and having deployment and rollback scripts ready for deployment night.
