      With my skills and experience in HR and associated administrative duties in the mining industry, I successfully set up and ran an underground mining contracting business having successfully tendered for the contract at Fosterville Gold Mine in Bendigo, Victoria. In my role, primarily as HR Manager, I was responsible for:1. Recruitment & Selection – the business employed 180 people. The mining industry has a relatively high turnover and accordingly, recruitment was a constant requirement. 2. Training – Organising relevant courses (on-site & off), KPIs & KBIs, performance reviews.3. EBAs – formulate EBAs for the workforce, ensure their legal compliance and acceptance amongst our workforce.4. Insurance 5.
