      As an intern in the Nia Center at Kalahari Resorts, I worked with both the event planners and catering staff to cover various aspects of convention center operations. This included acting as a liaison with the chef and other catering staff to communicate the changing needs of event clients.I set help set up displays for food layouts for weddings and conferences, mixing functionality and creativity for a visually pleasing and efficient set-up. My duties also included set up for high-level business meetings, which included a careful eye for detail and precision.When working events, I helped set-up and tear down rooms and delivered plated meals to guests. Managing YTF's internal blog includes a strong emphasis on editing incoming submissions, in particular those written by non-native English speakers.
