  Working with American Embassy School, New Delhi I put up theme-based dance productions, various dance performances, directed and choreographed numerous dance videos with students and enjoyed bringing together various dance styles and cultures in one classroom for four years. I’m elated by the journey dance can take you through and I have found great satisfaction in seeing my students grow as dancers and people. Through this institution I had the pleasure of interacting with internationally acclaimed artists at events around the world and leading dance trips to London which comprised of classes in a different dance style with a different teacher each day and watching shows like 42nd Street, Remembrance at the Peacock Theatre, Heartbeat of Home, Come From Away, The Lion King and more.   I love creating work, not only the part when you get to showcase and share but the process where lot of creative minds come together to devise something. I find great meaning in picking up a theme and finding our own way of interpreting it and at the same time seeing how differently/similarly someone else might relate to it. Young people are always filled with such new ideas, do not hesitate in trying new things and have an interesting take which makes it really fun to work with them. Being a part of ISTA one gets to explore and share your art and knowledge with students from around the world in such a way. Show less
