  • About me

    During my 31 years in Aviation field, I have acquired the core competencies in ATM, Safety Management Systems, Airport Panning, Aerodrome Safeguarding and the Aerodrome Standards & Certification. I was the project manager for the development of NOCAS an Aerodrome Safeguarding Automation System which covers close to 100 civil airports in India. I have received ATC training at CATC Allahabad (IN) and FAA Academy Oklahoma (US). Worked at major Indian airports and ATC centers as Air Traffic Controller (Tower, ACC and Approach controller ) and OJTI in both Surveillance and Procedural environment. Received SMS training from ICAO before working as Safety Manager at Delhi ATS. Being a member of the runway safety team at Delhi airport and my experience in aerodrome standards and certification gave me rich insight into safety issues relevant to airport operations. I was also part of the ICAO project team n Afghanistan to transit the Kabul International Airport to local Civil Govt. and gained useful experience in the multi culture work environment.
