  I currently manage a small team within a supported accommodation setting where we accommodate young people aged between 16 - 25 years old. Each young person has a support plan tailored to their own specific needs and they learn all the skills that they require to enable them to live independently within the community. My role includes staff supervision and appraisal, support planning, facilitating residents meetings, 121 support meetings, benefit application and appeals, life skills tuition, departmental budget management, maintenance, conflict management and negotiation skills, collating and reporting monthly stats to the Project Manager, collating reports and monthly stats to Northumberland County Council, campaigning and promoting housing needs for young people within Northumberland, providing stats to agencies such as Homeless Link and Centrepoint Show less
