I stayed in a dorm with other participants and we were mentored by women who are experts in their field of study. Each day, I attended a seminar that trained and equipped me on public speaking, campaign management, fundraising, public policy issues and advocacy.       Gold Award Girl Scouts of America Apr 2007 Planned, implemented and hosted a prom gathering for teenage cancer patients at The Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Project exceeded 100 hours of service. All supplies, entertainment, food and service were donated by the local Dallas community.Completed project was defended against a selected Girl Scout's panel for approval.
