  At Rausch Coleman I was able to work in many different fields. My primary responsibilities were to assist the purchasing and estimating lead and to help coordinate and keep the construction on schedule.

  As a Student Ambassador I gave tours to prospective students and their families. As yearbook editor I was responsible for hiring a crew, organizing a plan, leading meetings, and ultimately producing a good product over the span of a year. The overall completion and quality of the book was my responsibility and I lead a staff of over 15 students in order to accomplish this goal.

  Field Engineering Intern

  As a Field Engineering Intern I worked closely with both the project superintendent and the project engineer assisting them and learning about their various roles. I was also able to work with many of the craft workers to gain experience in the various fields involved in a large scale project. The projects I worked on were located in the Dow Chemical plants in Freeport, TX.

  Project Engineer

  I work as a project engineer performing structural design for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. Our projects have included design work with steel (framing and connections), concrete foundations, CMU, wood, light gauge framing, and aluminum. I also work on structural investigations and additions to existing structures.
