Conducted research and pioneered 55+ Desi Connect Project to integrate South Asian seniors into the center. Collaborated with upper management, staff, and community members and mitigated systemic barriers, increased awareness through education, increased South Asian membership, and organized culturally specific events.• Managed a $25,000 grant and successfully worked with the steering committee and Oshawa Senior Community Centres (OSCC) staff to orchestrate several events.
