  Activities and Societies: I played for the NIU water polo team, had three internships and worked full time for the Glen Ellyn Historical Society. My degree was combination of a history and museum studies. Areas of study included late nineteenth century U.S. history, not-for-profit management and improving visitor experiences. To gain practical experience while earning my degree, I interned at three museums, I gained experience in collections management, historical building restoration and interpretation. In September of 1996 I was hired as the Executive Director of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society.

  Activities and Societies: I was a member of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and played on the Purdue Water Polo Team. Areas of study include business management, cost accounting, finance and economics.
