  Precepted by a registered nurse while I develop and execute critical care evaluations, interventions and diagnostics of patients with acute illness while maintaining a safe environment.I perform electrocardiogram tests, prepare patients for intravenous therapy, monitor patient hemodynamic status and vital signs, and assist in carrying out hospital procedures for acute illnesses such as stroke, cardiac arrest, trauma, DKA and sepsis. I organize patient interventions in various departments, placement for behavioral health patients statewide and obtain venous draws for patient status monitoring. Show less
