      Engineer (Mobility and AI Governance)

My team and I are concerned with a multitude of aspects when it comes to AVs: (i) the fidelity of the virtual testing toolchain used (ii) physical tests in a controlled environment to authenticate the simulations (iii) tolerances and resilience to cyber attacks (iv) safety standards such as ISO 26262 for functional safety & ISO 21448 for the safety of the intended functionality SOTIF are used to ensure full compliance by the AV developers. These need to be assessed and passed prior to granting the developer approval to head onto public roads.Overall, the team is involved in the testing, inspection and eventual certification of AVs.
