Designed a testing strategy to re-use existing test conditions and cases from another IVR project, resulting in a near 40% savings in UAT Testing expenses for the customer. Created an extensive UAT Test Plan to help client understand the scope of testing work, including detailed estimates of testing for both client and consultant testers.Mapped the roughly 1000 existing test case to the new Voice User Interface document (VUI) to establish design traceability and also discover paths not covered in existing test cases. Discovered and documented 385 new paths to be tested, which resulted in 100% path coverage of the VUI. Collaborated with Client to divide up testing work between experienced Customer Service Team members and our trained Consultant testers. Trained business users, UAT Testers and the Application Technology team of SMEs on IVR testing processes and created some sample test cases for all to use to test out those processes.Negotiated with client to prioritize the testing work by taking a risk based approach to testing.
