Activities and Societies: During my MSc, students were required to form groups of three and develop a immunotherapy. My group researched an idea for a monoclonal antibody which was pitched to a board comprised of both academic staff and industry professionals. Out of the seven groups presenting, my project was chosen as the idea most likely to receive industry investment. My MSc Thesis involved a four month research project completed in Cardiff University. Here I studied the inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis. I spent my time in Simon Jones' lab. My thesis was awarded best project for the 2017 class.
