      Studio Joa Herrenknecht is a relative new and upcoming design studio in Berlin, focussing on furniture, accessories and even rugs.My task is to support the studio in every day activity's.Research on projects including products and material exploration. Contacting firms and suppliers for information and samples.Making sketches (some more technical then others). Prepare for production and packaging.Also follow up on appointments and previous productions.

      Henry van de Velde 22 Environment Gold Award — ONTketen Flanders DC Jan 2022 Within this project, cleantech start-up Circular Matters, design platform Livable are joining forces for a circular, bio-based future. As a green start-up, Circular Matters developed an alternative to hard plastics and wood-based boards: a biopolymer completely free of fossil and mined resources.

His work seeks to combine local crafts, social engagement and environmental awareness with design as a tool to form a process, a way of working, and a common approach.The Designer of the Year award is an initiative by the Biennale Interieur and the magazines Knack Weekend and Le Vif Weekend.

      Recycling Design award 18 - First price Martha Herford museum, Herford (DE) Jan 2018 The jury honored the Belgian designer for his carpet made of marine litter, known as "ROPE rug". The carpet consists exclusively of recycled ropes from the shipping industry in the Philippines.Sep Verboom is the winner of the recycling design prize 2017/18.
