  I participated in a summer internship program for 2023. There, I worked on a knowledge management mining project (KMMAI) using Azure OpenAI. I did mostly front-end work. I participated in a 2-week design-thinking process within Agile Development. Key highlights from the summer listed below:• Participated in all agile activities, including daily scrums and sprint reviews, and facilitated some. • Followed Agile software development methodologies by being transparent in the project work, collaboratively inspecting the work with my clients, and using the feedback to adapt the future work.• Acted as a Scrum Master for a remote software development team of 15 using Scaled Agile Methodologies for a period of one week.• Participated in the Scrum of Scrums, where dependencies and blockers/risks were identified.• Acted as Servant-leader by ensuring Scrum Team members' work was updated in the team's Jira board.I continued into the fall and spring semesters, where I picked up an existing project from the summer: rapid prototyping using generative AI. Here I participated as Scrum Master for the entire duration of the internship, having the same Scrum Master responsibilities as the summer. This time, for a team of 5-7.I not only strengthened my initial skills but also gained new ones. For example• Creating REST API requests to Miro and Figma using React/JS and testing with Postman. • Setting up the Miro/Figma Oauth2 flow to gather authorization tokens. • Making API requests from the backend in Django.• Refining the prompts and functionality of our OpenAI chatbot.
